So, if I had a budget of 3,800 a month and to save money i needed to lower my budge to 3,716 , I think I could figure a way to that without my world coming to an end. That is what this is all about.

Very good. Gov spending has increased roughly 4% each year for the past four years! The sequester limits this years increase to only 2%.

A great post, as it puts it into the true light.
Diane Sawyer will be pointing out the rationality of your post, this evening.
But, don't hold your breath, waiting.

It's called baseline budgeting and is a total sham.

Actually, from what I understand, it is more like this: If my last year's budget was $3,800 and this year's budget is $4,000 but because of sequestration, now I am only going to get $3,910...How hard is it to survive this year.

They are not cutting this from last year's spending they are cutting it from this year's projected spending which is some 4% higher than last years.
Traffic alert: There's a massive clown car pileup in the Beltway. And with the White House court jesters of sequester behind the wheel, no one is safe. Fiscal sanity, of course, is the ultimate victim.

President Obama has been warning America that if Congress allows mandatory spending "cuts" of a piddly-widdly 2 percent to go into effect this week, the sky will fall. The manufactured crisis of "sequestration" was Obama's idea in the first place.

But that hasn't stopped the Chicken Little in Chief from surrounding himself with every last teacher, senior citizen and emergency responder who will be catastrophically victimized by hardhearted...
