Zero tolerance is an excuse for lazy administrators to never have to make a decision. By treating a minor offense, in this case accidently leaving a firearm in his vehicle, the same as a major one, for example if he had carried it into school and was threatening people, makes a mockery of justice. Although in this case, I think it was a case of anti-gun bigots run wild.

Killing Jews was a "right" in Nazi Germany. So you must be OK with that. It was the law.
If a human being had the power to prevent a tragedy like the slaughter of the school children and failed to act, everyone would, correctly, condemn them. If God is all powerful yet allows evil like this to happen, He is a sadistic monster. If he lacks the power to prevent it, why worship a useless spectator? He allows all the suffering, death, heartbreak, murder, wars, starvation to happen without lifting a finger. He must love to see his "children" suffer.
