Strangulation by Union

Actually too many of you buy the idea that in the beginning unions were good because you buy the history written by biased historians as it is today. Good research with a perspective prior to the Industrial Revolution would show they were as damaging then as now. Many of the horror stories were told because it sold. To look at history, begin before the event. How were lives of the common man before the IR and how were they after? Much better you will find if you do your homework.

The Great Tax Divide

Obama has said that his goal is not more revenue to reduce the deficit, but "fairness". He poses an improbable path to create a target for deflecting responsibility for the mess we are in.

Some might complain that such an arrangement is inefficient. It was designed to be inefficient to protect the citizens. The danger lies in efficiency of carrying out their schemes.

Part of our problem is that we don't view the leaders of the House and Senate on par with the President, but view the President as the head of government. Our government is suppose to have 3 heads. Some may say 4, but the Chief Justice is a referee. When Presidents as far back as Lincoln, and possibly further back, have gone off track and abused their power there have been no consequences. People stand around complaining that "He can't do that!", but he does. We allow it because we see the President in much the same way we see the president of a corporation. It is not suppose to be that way.
Nothing new here. Same things happening decades ago. Nothing ever happens.

What is truly sad is that out of all those folks in the theater none were carrying a gun. Just one gun in the audience would have ended the violence quickly.

If it is government that creates success, we all have government. Why aren't we all successful?

For Obama the debt and spending are not problems. He increased both drastically. His focus is power and he knows that you must buy votes. He, like those around him and who support him believe that wealth is created in Washington and all they need to do is hire more to do more. It is in their DNA and you cannot convince them otherwise anymore than you can convince conservatives that they are wrong. The only group that can be convinced are the independent as they have no strong convictions and can be bought.
