I work in a small "ma and pa" consulting firm. At the MOST, we have had five people working in our office at one time. Usually, it's my boss, his wife and me. Sometimes it's JUST me. Needless to say, none of us requires a wheelchair. Yet, in order to get the proper certification for the for the business to occupy its building we HAD to put in a handicapped parking space complete with a ramp and a sticker. When we've had visitors, I've had to park in the handicapped place and stay there.

Yet if this same 15 year old wanted to go to the drug store and buy certain brands of cold medicines, she wouldn't be able to. Go figure.
