Portland and Seattle have PORTS guaranteed Income supporting them as cheap Chines goods flow into the market. So your are ridiculous in that it is Improbable to recreate such large ports elsewhere to avoid the Dumbocrats where as it is possible to make new factories nearly anywhere thus Detroit and Flint got dumped.

The hollowing out of Detroit is nearly complete. All that's left is a bankrupt shell of a city with no services and scattered citizens that do not pay taxes.
