While I admire McCain and his heroic past I feel that he is Hurting we the people in so many ways with his "Gary Good Guy" persona, that it is time for another individual to take over the helm. I am strictly opposed to Mc Cain's Amnesty leanings and believe him to be too soft when it comes to dealing with the Democrat party and the tougher battles to be won.He did not show leadership, in my mind, while running for president. In fact, I felt he was helping Obama more then he was helping himself. If what Palin said of McCain's handlers and their inability to allow her to speak without being forced to use their talking points only, then again I say his leadership was weak at best. FAITH? When I heard the new J.D. Hayworth campaign radio ad for the first time, I felt like I had worms in my underwear. Whereas Hayworth's opponent, John McCain, usually stonewalls when asked about his faith, Hayworth instead shines forth with bravado in an ad that declares him “a good Christian,” whatever that may be. How did we land at a place in American public life where one's faith is either something to be avoided altogether or something to be wielded like a sword and shield? Neither approach is one of which we should be proud.
