At the expense of the entire nation one Senator has taken on the responsibility to take care of one state with a mere 100 million dollars that will undoubtedly go to the infamous mayor that has shown such leadership in the past that the buses couldn't be used because there weren't enough licensed drivers. Now maybe with that money she sold her vote and herself for, they can get all the citizens of Louisiana licensed and ready for the next disaster. Now that is leadership???

Immediately, as the Senate takes up health care legislation, we receive the chief benefit of the proposal. Laughter is not only good for the soul, it’s good for the body, too.

If we can’t laugh at the juxtaposition of the massive promises being made and the track record of our solons in Washington, well, we’re in for a long debate.
