This can become a bigger issue than we realize if Obama is pressed to release these documents. If he doesn't the question of doubt is raised. If the real documents are released he will be criticized for them. If they aren't real, and even if they are, many will not believe it. Either way it is not a good situation for the president.

He was pressed into coming up with something on the birth certificate. Nothing was done until Trump made it an issue, and the birth thing was not even a big issue for Trump. It was made so by the media. This time Trump is making it an issue definitively. We shall see how it plays out.

This election season just wouldn't be complete without eleventh-hour cameo appearances from two of the biggest publicity mongers on planet earth.  Celebrity attorney Glorida Allred and famed real estate mogul Donald Trump both claim to be in possession of potential political bombshells that could alter the course of the presidential contest.  My strong suspicion is that both the Romney and Obama campaigns would be delighted if this cartoonish duo would simply go away and keep their "revelations" to themselves.  Fat chance.  Let's start with Allred, whose hit on Mitt Romney is looking mighty lame:
