Chaffetz reveals an ongoing theme of Republican action since 2010 and that is not providing the needed resources on key areas then blaming the Administration when things go wrong. This poicy has effected too many of our vital needs and I suspect with a Republican House is still in place, we'll see massive cuts to the FDA, CDC, EPA and probably to air safety as well all so that when Americans die, people like Chaffetz can blame the President.

The Illinois Education Association chose an odd location for a party in Washington, D.C. in July: the National Museum of Crime and Punishment.

A new financial report filed with the federal Department of Labor reveals the union spent $11,008 on the event, found.

The museum’s website lists its displays, including an interactive autopsy table. There’s nothing like strolling among pretend dead bodies with finger foods and chardonnay chanting “we’re doing it for the kids.”

Union delegates also had the treat of viewing serial killer Ted Bundy’s car.

That wasn’t the only odd news...
