It's not so much that it "serves" Christianity as that it is simply a Biblical truth. It's not only non-Christians or "non-theists" that Christians believe are not good. The Bible tells us that all human beings are corrupt and dirty and sinful and displeasing to God: "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3.23). That's why Jesus came. "The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romand 6.23).He, the Perfect One, received our punishment so that we could be reconciled to God. We can only be truly good when we die to ourselves and let Christ live through us. When that happens we become children of God, we receive his Holy Spirit and we are finally able to please our...

I figure my parents can do with THEIR money what they want. I think that the author's idea of helping their children out while they're still alive is great. A lot of the time, money is unnecessarily hoarded throughout life when could do a lot more good right now. However, it's THEIR hard-earned money to do with what they want. And if they choose to divide what's left at the time of their death unequally, it's up to them, whether I understand or agree with it or not. I've determined that when the time comes, I'm not going to be fighting with my siblings or nursing grudges over who got what if I end up with less than them.

Seems to me that hopey changey thing implied that Obama thought Bush had made lots of messes and he was going to clean them up. If he didn't have a plan, he shouldn't have run for the top executive office of the land. Guess Americans (except for, apparently, some eggheads)are discovering that running a campaign --which is the only experience Obama had at running anything prior to becoming president-- isn't quite the same as running a country.

It's hard to believe that anyone could make such a statement! You wrote, "it is highly improbable Americans will be attacked on his watch." Does Fort Hood ring a bell!?!? You might not have heard of it since it seems to have been but a blip on the MSM's radar, but if you check it out, you'll find that, indeed, Americans have already been attacked on Obama's watch despite all of his kowtowing to leaders of other countries and his bad-mouthing of the U.S.

The idea is so simple that even a Democrat can not only understand it but can even do a pretty darn good job of explaining it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEdXrfIMdiU). However, the prosperity that would result from reducing the tax burden and letting hard-working Americans keep their hard-earned money would lessen the need for government intervention and would make BO's socialist agenda considerably harder to achieve.

German IS, in fact, one of the official languages of Belgium (although I believe most of its inhabitants speak French or Dutch, the other two official languages). However, your point is well-taken. If it weren't for the U.S. participation in the war, it might very well be the only one.
