Indy John there is something called the HIVE MIND. I think that might be the premise on which The Borg was built in Star Trek. In fact the press, the president and the congress really work now just as insidiously and relentlessly as The Borg. Haven't we all heard their stealth whispers of "resistance is futile" and their endless polls announcing that WE LOVE THE BORG??
