Radicals and Wingnuts are more the same types but with a different political party. "wing nuts" or reactionaries and radicals are identical in action and methods. Both hate freedom. Both attack anyone who does not think like they do and they both think that they know what America should be and they think they are right and those that do not agree are wrong. To me both are dangerous.
Actually I had this explained to me that on a continium it goes in this order from who loves freedom to those who do not want any freedom except for people who think like that. In order of freedom to tyranny
1. Conservitives
2. moderates
3. Liberals
4. mid left Liberals
5. Socialist
6. Communist
7. Radicals
8. Reactionary, Racist,...

I think that what we are dealing with is people who on the surface are very calm. One of the reasons why I voted for Obama is that he is able to remain calm when the people around him are falling apart. Because of that he wins. He points at people who have passion and show their frustration and uses it against them. And if any one who is questioning him loses their temper it hurts us and it plays into the Saul Alinsky plan. That is that they use others reaction as a tool against them. And one must not lose their composure or temper dealing with the administration. If any American who is questioning Authority reacts violently we will lose the freedom of the entire nation.
Again be honest, talk about the facts, Do not fall pray to...

There are many many good American Republicans and Democrats who love our Country. And both will do what they can do to keep our country free. But what we also have are extremist who have infiltrated both parties who do not love our country. There are some extreme Republicans who want no government at all and there are extreme Radicals who vote with the Democrats who want the Government to do everything for everyone. And frankly I believe both extremes are dangerous and to be avoided.
The vast majority love our country and want to save the Constitution. The vast majority wants limited Government. The traditional old republicans want less Government. And the old style moderate Democrat wants more but limited Government (not as limited...

Respect is earned. Last post I went on about the hate from the left of Christians. That really had nothing to do with your post. If you want to see it is is on Huffington Post about that TV show.
Back to the subject. I believe that we all have rights to make our own choices. We succeed when we make good choices and fail with bad choices. And we earn the respect. Just like we gain experience.
And also our country was based on religious tolerance of All religions and freedom of press and speech. I do see that eroding and it is not only with this administration but it is an on-going thing.
I do think it is time to have a public reading of the constitution, Declaration of Independence, and all the early writings of our founding...

We all need to do research. We all need to know history. We all need to know human nature. I have to admit I really thought that the liberals were all love and peace on earth and tolerance. But just today I had a just experienced and witnessed hate of Christianity. And yes Christians have blood on our hands. But we also believe in free will. And it is okay to attack Christians but don't attack anyone else. To me hatred is poison no matter who it is aimed at. And the whole premise of American Ideals is on Freedom, Liberality, tolerance. And to me when people group people into mini groups it separates and does not unit. In fact I can only see if our country becomes Religious intolerance than we will in fact have blood on the streets....

Truth will come out and as long as all of us really check the facts and all of us go to the source and stick to the facts and the truth than the truth will prevail. I believe that it takes many people to not fall into exaggerations or half truths.... once any one of us do that it will stain all of us. We all need to find the facts, present the facts and stick to the facts. That is the only way to undo the cult of personality. I know because I was caught up in the cult of personality. I fell for it. And what has helped doing research and going to the sources. I have woken up. And if I can wake up so can anyone else. But keep being logical and honest and tell your friends about reliable resources. Maybe even point to the books of the...

The worst thing anyone can do is to become violent. In fact violence only feeds into the hands. And it is just plain wrong to choose violence. I am anti-violent. The only thing we all can do is to inform ourselves. Figure out what is true and speak the truth and only the truth. Fact check everything you hear and read to make sure that you do not pass any lies or any white lies or half truths.
Remain peaceful and respectful at the same time inform yourself and those who are willing to listen. If anyone even considers any violence you have just buried any chance of Freedom and Liberaty for all.
It is one thing to defend oneself and very much a different matter than to be the first to choose a violent path.
A person who has...

Susan I do ask myself every day why I voted for him. I guess that I bought into Sarah Palin lacking experience. And I did not like the way that she handled herself. I guess that is part of it. But also I just bought into everything. I guess I looke at his charm and his beautiful family. I guess Obama remains calm when everyone else is getting emotional. He seemed like he had his act together. Sarah Palin seemed to exaggerate and that was not what I found acceptable for a President. Now in hindsight, Sarah and McCain were what you see what you get personalities and they also clearly love the country. And even though they were not the perfect choice they would have at least kept the love for America Alive. They would not let anyone change...

I would like to add that I do not agree with the arguements by the birthers. I believe that Obama would have been barred from running if that were true. When I hear anything I check and double check. And yes I get more confused. I have to admit I have far more questions than answers. I do not believe everything I hear anymore. But I have to admit I do question what I was thinking when I voted for Obama. Usually I question everyone I vote for. But when he spoke I believed. Is he really as bad as he is being reported on by FOX. Time will tell. I still can not bring myself to believe he is that bad. But he certainly is cleaver and charming. He surrounds himself with questionable people. And it is more than one or two.
About the...

I was one of the people who was swept off my feet by President Obama from the first time I saw him speak at the Convention. I was active in getting the vote out for him. I am pro-life. But I ignored his stand on abortion. I ignored his ties with Wright and Ayers. I just believed every word that came from his mouth. The moment he spoke I was transfixed. I thought that he told us no lies. I marched with Obama signs. Never before did I get so excited about a man who was a breath of fresh air. Any time anyone said anything negative about him I defended him. The only thing that got on my nerves was his stand on abortion. But he said that he would find common ground. My brother tried to warn me but I thought my brother was just bitter and...
