Please define "poverty" for me Bob.....a person living in poverty not having everything that someone living better than them. Do you give to charity to help those in need? Do you tithe at church? Do you see a need and fill it? OR do you just expect the government to do it....Personally, I know there are people who are poor, but I've also hear supposedly "poor" people, in one breath, say they need help paying their electric bill, and in the next breath, say they can't wait to get their new 50" plasma tv delivered. ....If THAT is poverty, then send a little bit of it my way.

I assume that you do not use anything that involves gas...that you drive an electric car and you live in an ecology friendly house. Just like Gore, HE lives in a house that uses more energy in a month than most people use in a year and George Bush's house IS ecology friendly.....but leave it to the dems...don't do as I do, do as I say.

And during the Revolutionary War, young boys went along to fight along side their fathers and I never read where THEY were complaining that they could not vote. But again, youngsters now and youngsters then were way different. Nathaniel Greene who became a commander under Washington was only 19 yrs old. Can you imagine ANY 19 yr old being given that kind of responsibility these days...

And I know of a pastor and his family that was threatened by people calling telling them that their house was going to be blown up and their family harmed and ALL because they took a NON-VIOLENT stand against homosexuality....so pls Matt, don't give everybody the impression that gays are peace loving people that want to just live their lives as married couples...Christians have JUST as much of a right to stand up for what they believe just as you have that same right.

20+ yrs ago my daughter babysat for a lady who was in a lesbian relationship (she had 2 children) who bore children for gay couples. Possibly that is what the above couple have done. I'm sure if that happened over 20 years ago, that it is much more prevalent than it was then. And if this is the case, the comments about the surrogate mother changing her mind,... it'll never happen. This is how the gay community will be perpetuated.

The idea of our co-workers as family is repugnant. I am so sick of hearing it. Just because we work with people does not make them any closer than someone on the street. And what about all those who get fired from their "family" So call work just what it is...work and nothing more.
