Any REAL man, or women for that matter, would far rather be respected than loved, and that is a major fault of useful idiot progs - among many others. We also have republicans like that as well, to wit, Romney,McCain, Dole, Boehner, McConnell to name but a few.

In leadership, ideally, there is a balance to be struck. But ultimately, you're right. Respect is essential, and if it need be motivated by fear of a good thumping, than so be it.

Protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade on Sunday during her first visit to Egypt since the election of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.

A tomato struck an Egyptian official in the face, and shoes and a water bottle landed near the armoured cars carrying Clinton's delegation in the port city of Alexandria.
