In short Socail Conservatives respect the U.S. Constitution as written. Not has they want or think it to be. Rinos tend to be pragmatic and just because they believe a law to be a good one, will vote for it regardless of if it is consitutional or not. We advertise and think of ourselves as a Nation of Laws. The rule of law is why we consent to being governed in the first place. If elected officials can't respect the law, then they have no place governing, Just because a proposed law is a good thing does not make it constitutional. Conversely, just be a law happens to be a bad law does not mean its un-consitutional. Rinos have problems understanding this concept.
