Good Government trumps all other concerns in my view.
It is not good government when the government decides who will prosper and who will not, who will get delayed benefits, who will get immdediate relief.
Government by its nature is political. Since not all politicians are equal, the citizens will not end up being treated equally. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have more power, more influence then any of their peers in their respective houses. By virtue of this arraignment, everyone will not be treated equally.
