What Cosby and many elites fail to recognize is many of hte opportunities that were there for their generation is no longer there for this generation. So they just keep repeating the same old message, "get a good education".

Government is destroying opportunities with each passing year. State and local regulations and taxes kill the startup of new business. The exporting of good paying jobs kills the established jobs.

For a kid coming out of the inner city with no path to college, he finds low paying entry level jobs takin by illegals.

All of this at a time when the Federal Government is putting these kids in debt for their lifetime.

Washington—and indeed the country—is engaged in a great conversation about the government's role in our health care system. That's an important debate: changing government's role in health care will affect the lives of just about all Americans.

Yet, while most of our public debates focuses on public policy, government's role in determining our life's outcome is relatively small. It's the decisions that we make as individuals that set our life's course. It's families and communities that have the responsibility to give children the tools they need so that they can make the right choices and build a positive future.
