When the country moves right, it's because Liberalism has failed. When the country moves left, its because we forgot that Liberalism always fails.

It moves to the left because CONServatism and Repugnantcans always give America Recessions and The Great Depression!
People forget that it was the 8 years of the failed policies of the Bush-Cheney regime that put America where it is now economically and many seem to be eager to put incompetence back in charge in November.

You seem to have forgotten that Congress controls the purse strings, and the Democrats have had congressional control since 2006. The unemployment rate was hovering around 5%, the stock market (Dow) was over 13,000and the national debt was under a trillion dollars. Four years of democrat control, and look at the difference. About the Great Depression, it was a Republican President (Hoover) who put is there, and a democrat (Roosevelt) who kept us there for 7 years after coming into office. Oh well, a world war brought us out.

Bob, just keep burying your head in the sand. The reason we are in this mess is thanks to Barney Frank and Chris Dodd with their handling of Fannie and Freddie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUTLER, Pa. – In a campaign office on the first floor of a Sons of Italy lodge, Republican Mike Kelly spoke confidently to a crowd of locals about his race for the U.S. Congress.

Outside, a lone Joe Sestak supporter marched up and down with a handmade sign. Generating little attention, he left before Kelly’s rally began.

If you want a perfect picture of a potential wave election, Main Street here paints it for you.

Forty-odd miles north of Pittsburgh, Butler’s majestic county courthouse is across the street from a well-kept monument to fallen Civil War soldiers....
