Sunny from Colorado wants wise "Latina Woman" to return to her country of origin?

Maybe Sunny from Colorado did not do well in history class. There were wise "Latina Women" in the area known as Colorado and the southwest United States for over 200 years prior to any white women settling there.

Before you attempt to kick them out, perhaps you should understand that they have a longer claim than you do.

Your statements on the Ricci case are wrong.
1. The Supreme Court voted 5-4 to overturn, not "ALL 9" as you stated.
2. The Appeals Court on which she sat voted unanimously to affirm the lower court ruling, which means that they were not taking an "activist" position by overturning the city and the lower federal court. She did not issue the summary judgment, all 3 judges acting together issued the summary judgment. Furthermore, the "calling out" by her fellow justices were 2 of the 13 judges in the 2nd Circuit, who by a vote of 7-6 refused to allow the case to be heard by all 13 jurists, which is not typically done. These 2 judges were not her fellow judges who had ruled on the case.

Most of you wingnuts who read this site are positive that Sotomayor is a Liberal.

Your reasons are:
1. Anybody nominated by Obama is a Marxist.
2. Anybody from New York is a socialist.
3. Anybody who received any affirmative action must be a liberal.
4. Anybody who looks different than me (i.e. the racist remark that she looks like Hugo Chavez) must be a liberal.
5. Anybody who is pro choice must be liberal on everything.

If, instead, you analyzed her court rulings, you would realize that Sotomayor is pro-establishment and does not like upsetting the status quo and is not an "activist" judge. In her ruling in the fireman case, she took the opposite of the "activist" position by refusing to overturn what the...

The Supreme Court overturns 75% of the cases they take on. That is because over 95% of the cases the Supreme Court takes is of their own choosing and not mandatory. The court looks for cases to overturn in whole or in part. By the way, many of the "overturned" cases are overturned only in a small part leaving the majority of the case ok.

Any judge below 75% on the Court of Appeals is being overturned LESS THAN her other judges.
