GT: Last night for dinner my wife and I enjoyed elk cheese-burgers on the grill, baked potatoes, and a nice green salad—and it was yummy.

I hope two of the Guantanamo Bay detainees do go to live in Berkeley. I also hope that they live right next door to Rita Maran and that they do indeed date her cousin.

I would love to hear the father’s side of this little story.

Most of the MSM continue to rake Sarah Palin over the coals as being stupid, a quitter, a poor mother, etc. But of course, they love that mental giant…Joe Biden.

I believe few people truly understand just how unsightly and nearly worthless a large wind farm can be. As proof, one simply has to travel on I-10 a few miles west of Palm Springs, CA and view the extremely large wind farm at that location. There you will witness countless rows of wind turbines dotting the hills and valleys and actually see the waste. Many of these units are not turning; some have a single turbine blade missing while others have their blades or generators missing altogether. And it must be remembered, there is not one spot on earth where the wind blows 24/7 so wind power really has to be inconsistent. Wind power has its place; but it will never replace coal, natural gas, hydro-electric, and nuclear power plants as...

My first thoughts were of Hollywood actors, The View, and late night TV talk shows.

Almost every time we go to the store to buy groceries, we also buy a pack or two of incandescent light bulbs of the types and wattage we need in our home. We have a good stock on hand now and in the future, plan to continue this process. We hope to never have to buy one of these terribly foolish CFL bulbs, and since we are in our sixties, we believe we will be successful. We encourage all Americans to stock up.

Planes do not crash because of gravity. Planes crash because they fly too close to the ground =)
