Lilly, you represent exactly why Obama has no reason to believe otherwise, that we as a people, believe that government has all of the answers. God help us all, for we have abandoned the founding principals of western civilization, and the values that created a system of government in which man had inalieanabe God given rights. It was called a republic.

I disagree that,"... most of all, it’s profoundly insulting to realize that the President thinks that we are “intellectually challenged”. Why should Mr. Obama feel any differently. If the One's world view is limited to Hollywood, mainstream media, Labor Unions, teachers and proffessors in overwhelming vocal majorities guiding our children, over 40% of people willing to entertain voting again for the same policies, church leaders wanting government to envoke equality to all, enviromentalists, and sponsers including such America haters as George Soros. The real problem is not Obama, but the statist inroads made into the institutions that control the history, socialization, news, and most importanly culture of America.
