A few weeks ago I posted an article on the “sex week” business going on at my neighborhood Yale University; you can read it here: http://ayearningforpublius.wordpress.com/2013/03/05/man-sex-god-and-yale-and-elsewhere/ Well, it turns out that some lawmakers in Tennessee are a bit upset at the same nonsense happening at their taxpayer funded University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Good for them, and I hope parents and alumni all around the country wise up to what is happening at schools in which they entrust their children. http://townhall.com/columnists/toddstarnes/2013/03/20/university-could-be-defunded-over-sex-week-lesbian-bondage-expert-n1544102

Sorry you missed the sarcasm in my comment here. If you read it again, you will see that I am very much pro-life. Sometimes maybe my sarcasm is a bit to clever for my own good. Sorry to have misled you.

My thinking is that we should make abortion entirely legal. See how here http://ayearningforpublius.wordpress.com/2012/12/26/making-abortion-legal-would-end-its-controversy/
Read my comments here: http://ayearningforpublius.wordpress.com/2013/01/09/the-second-amendment-to-the-us-constitution/ An excerpt is here: A few days ago I wrote about Constitutional Law Professor Louis Michael Seidman from Georgetown University advocating we abandon the Constitution, so this is a very serious question, a very serious and real Constitutional crisis. The man currently occupying the White House was also a Constitutional Law Professor, but has the luxury of being able to write his Constitutional theories into Executive Orders having the force of law; the luxury of writing a new constitution without having to go through the rigorous ratification of We the People ... .

http://ayearningforpublius.wordpress.com/2012/08/11/three-cheers-for-romney-ryan/ Three cheers for Romney & Ryan. Three cheers for three very good reasons: Jake (age 16), Scott (age 13) and Riley (age 10). These are my three grandchildren, and Mitt’s choice of Paul Ryan as VP gives me new hope and new optimism for the futures of these three that I love very much. You see, I’ve been keenly following the fiscal and economic condition of this country for over 4 years now, going back into the Bush era and the beginning of the Democratic control of the congress back in 2007. In those days, I wasn’t unduly alarmed with things like the national debt and yearly deficits, but in hindsight should have been.
