It doesn't matter we are living in a society that does not care about truth, integrity, and character. The elections 2012 proved that.

The RP lost the Hispanics votes for the future just like the votes under the civil rights movement for African Americans. Lincoln is way too far in the past for people to give a hoot about. The fact is the GOP can not get re-elected with just the caucasian votes. Conservatives are the poor, the working poor, and middle class, and affluent. Minority groups contains them too. If the GOP think it pointless to reach out to minority groups then it's their loss. A person with principle will live by them and a person without principle will do whatever it takes to win.

Shouldn't the Hispanic Republican and African American Republican voters reflect that? So who were their opponents another Hispanic, African American, or Caucasian, from the DP? What was the demographics made of who elected them?

Not sure why you assume "pandering" when that is not the point of the comment. If Republican want to win future elections the party needs to reflect the demographics of the country who share their values. What are people perception of Republicans? Where do they get those perception from? Do Republicans confirm those perception? The values of the country have changed from conservative to liberal. The Republicans failed to recognized that.

You are missing the point. Where were the conservatives minorities in the RP that reflects the country?

Empowerment is giving people the tools to be self-sufficent. It's not just words but deeds. It's not a handout instead it's teaching someone to independent. There was a news story about a boy who wanted to help his family. A local business owner loan him the cart to sell hot-dogs before getting shut down by the city. That's empowerment teaching someone to be independent.

The RP needs to do some outreach to minorites who shared the same values. Those people are the ones that can go into their local community and share their values. The lack of presence at the local level is what is hurting the RP when it comes to the national level. It is not about pandering and giving special interest groups power.

Wouldn't you want to be the party that empower minorities and immigrants to be self-sufficient which lines with your values? The DP gets credit for going out into the community and promoting the DP whereas the RP don't.

Do you see any minoriites or immigrants conservatives at venues that Romney or Ryan spoke at during the election? You don't and that gives the MSM the ability to paint the RP as a party for affluent caucasian only. Also, the flaw in the focus group does not represent demograhics of the country. Everytime there is an election the DP governor or congressman/woman would showed up and speak to minorities about electing them for office. You don't see that with the RP. We are not living in the 80s anymore which means the RP will have to do a lot of outreach if they want to be elected into office. The demograhics have changed along with religious beliefs.

The Republican Party should empower immingrants to be self-sufficent instead of complaining about them. The RP need to be for everyone and not just who they want into the party. The RP have not lived up to their values which causes them to be inarticulate about those values when it comes to the people. Until the RP open their doors to minorities and immigrants will they be on par with the Democratic Party. Reality is that the RP can not depend on just caucasian voters anymore.

The Republican Party have done very little outreach toward minority groups before, during, and after elections. They have not included minorities who conservatives into the party. The RP is stuck in the 80s and have not adapted to the changes of time. If they did they would not be where they are today asking what happened and trying to find answers? ______________________________________________________________________________
