I've read numerous books on Auschwitz, Belsen, Sobibor, Belzac, etc. The one common theme to me is that...nobody cared. This isn't to say that some very brave souls did come forward, but that they were easily smashed by the NAZI state. For this reason, I will never support any government that takes on rights at the expense of citizens. Governments should be limited to very clearly defined powers and never imbued with rights.

It's good to see the old fossils of the party, who haven't come up with anything new in years to deal with our country's problems, finally shut out of the limelight. McCain is toast; good riddance to this over-ripe RINO. Time to let the new kids on the block take over; they've more than proved that they not only understand what is wrong, but that they actually have great ideas on how to fix the country.

I have no problem with adults smoking; actually I prefer it if they do so in large numbers in cities like San Francisco, Berkerly, and Boulder. The dope smokers I knew as a kid generally just sat in the corner, like a potted plant, while stoned. Come to think of it, can we mandate free marijuana for California state legislators? Even better, require they "inhale" until the point of stupidity before entering their Holy Chambers to decide the fate of lesser mortals. I'd even throw in the free Big Mac's if they'd smoke more. Maybe then their stupid laws would make more sense? Hmmm....maybe I should start smoking dope to understand them? (Are they already on the bong?)

Good to see that the man who hates the rich (unless they donate to Him). He's a moocher; another taker on the government dole who achieves must less than His compensation would suggest. The One does not have the credential to manage a McDonald's, let alone the country. He hasn't a clue about real work or how economics works. He actually does believe that money grows on trees.
