It never ceases to amaze me, demented Schumer and "I was in Vietnam" Kerry just don't get it. They always assume that they are doing what their voters in N.Y.or MA want. Frankly, only the progressive voters of those states would agree with any of their policy decisions. Neither one should add anything to policy and they should "go quietly into the night" Who cares about them?

They will find out next election that the vast majority has had far to much "face time" of either of them and hopefully they will be removed from politics. I wish it was November 2010 already!
Good Morning, being a vet,a college grad and someone who drives a truck, you help to solidify my point. Your efficacious argument that government oversight in every aspect of our lives is quite a good thing? I don't agree.

Contrary to your opinion, government oversight was meant to be the Post Office,Military and building our infrastructure. All the other agencies you mention came about to layer our republic with more regulations and fees in the guise of providing public safety. Consumers Union, SAE (society of automotive engineers) and numerous other private companies are quite capable of oversight when it comes to our safety.

The Tea Party movement stands for LESS government intrusion into our daily lives and a return to...
Do you know what the word "incremental" means? I doubt it. This is how you and all your uninformed friends came to pass laws for Public Schools, Social Security, Medicare,Medicaid,Chips,Food Stamps and the other hundred Federal Agency tax dollar subsidized boondoggles that came into effect.

Yes, I am for following the laws of the land, but I'm quite sure you never contributed one single thing to make our country a better place! Are you a veteran? Probably not, just another mealy mouthed liberal who only knows how to whine when you don't get your way! Get real, the Tea Party will help restore our government and laws from these PROGRESSIVES and instill our values so people on the dole can no longer take without contributing!! Just...

Now They Want to Stop Spending?

Mr President,

You have the "audacity" to now recommend a spending freeze. How about getting our money back from AIG,GM and Chrysler and all the others you bailed out from your campaign!

Then consider reducing taxes, removing government obstacles from business and getting some of our manufacturing base back from China and Mexico.

Even a simple minded idiot knows that you can't get 15 million people back into work if you don't get out of the way of the people that create the jobs!

How about eliminating all the FAT from government by closing down the bureaucracies within the Federal Government. Take the rest of the stimulus money and send some of it out to the citizens in the form of Stimulus checks and we...
I would never agree with taking up arms to change the policies nor laws of our elected officials. Unless of course we are forced into Communism and disavow our Constitution. We must though, remain strident in our effort to educate those who disagree with the Tea Party movement.

I recall the 60's peace movements and rallies that were violent in their effort to get us out of Vietnam. Those were predominately LIBERAL RADICAL free thinkers who became violent at those protests!!

I also recall the N.Y. Times just calling them PEACE ACTIVISTS. What B.S. The Tea Party here in N.C. is contrived of ALL races and nationalities who are tired of being lied to by big government and want REAL CHANGE. That is why, come November you will...
The need for unionization was apparent back in the early days of "sweat shops". Small unions did protect their members safety and human rights.

Today's mega unions(Teamsters,SEIU) have grown into giant conglomerates that offer little assistance to their members unless it is a case where money can be obtained for the union. The primary function of today's unions are to collect dues, attract new members and provide wealth to the union officers. Little or no benefit is gained by the worker from paying monthly union dues. GM went under due to it's legacy costs put on them from the union, still the union refused to take less benefits??

WORKERS should have the option to opt out of a union or refuse to have one at their...

I agree with your article that now is not the time for Israel to make any more concessions.
It all started with Jimmy Carter, then Bill Clinton and now Obama. Islamic governments will never leave Israel alone or agree to ANY peace agreement until they cease existence.

If Israel is to survive, they must take whatever action they feel is necessary to accomplish that goal. Israel must "double down" to protect itself and not worry about what the U.N. or our idiot president thinks.

Israel is the only democracy in the middle east and they should receive the support from the rest of the world that they surely deserve. I sure they would come to OUR aid if we needed it! The current administration lead by Obama and Hillary Clinton...

What will it take before our President realizes that we are "MAD AS HELL AND NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE". Is this an impeachable offense?

Washington must wake up quickly before the Pitch Forks and Tar and Feathers arrive..

Politicians have lied to us for far to long. The entire process of how Washington D.C. sets policy needs to be RESET!

Our republic needs to have more input from it's citizens and now is the time for people to stand together and keep telling them in D.C.that we are informed, educated and not going to take any more BS from them.

All incumbents on both side of the aisle had better wake up and see that they will be out of a job in 2010. We must keep their feet to the fire and constantly remind them that WE THE PEOPLE run the country, not them!! This president has given us nothing but buyer remorse! He will be out of office in 2012.
