There are plenty of innocent people dying right here in the US. Victums of crimes like home invasions, carjackings, muggings, and gang rape. If we want to declare war, it should be on the crips, the bloods, ms-13, the latin kings, the mexican mafia, etc... But I guess that would be kind of "un-pc" too, given the racial demographics of the gangs and their supporters. Come to think of it, declaring war might not be necessary. Simply end all welfare/food stamp/medicaid/public housing programs (to nail the crips and bloods) and deport the illegals (to finish off the others).

But for all those "zig-zags", not so much as one has ever occurred in Sub-Saharan Africa nor by the descendants thereof. Sowell seems like a decent guy, but he also refuses to see the reality of the situation, that he is somewhat of a genetic "freak" among blacks. The vast majority of his kind are completely incapable of his level of understanding, and no amount of time or money will ever change that. He seems to hold out some type of hope that if the blacks just "apply themselves" they can be just like him. But that will never be. He is as alien to them as we are.

Sowell makes a decent argument, as usual. He is certainly not "typical". But there is no one who will ever convince me that DNA does not play a big part in the behavior of blacks. If humans first evolved from apes in sub Saharan Africa, is it not logical to assume that those native to sub Saharan Africa are the least evolved and closest to the original link in both behavior and intelligence (or lack thereof). The empirical proof is overwhelming. Just go to New Orleans, or Oakland, or Detroit, or St. Louis, or Bedford Styvesant, or Johannesburg and you will see the same type of thing. Even in places like Sweden, most violent crime, especially rape, is committed by Africans and their descendants. The proof, as always, is in the stats.
