That should tell us everything we need to know about the utter cynicism of this glib man. It is just one more example, actually. I still don't understand the cult of Obama, I mean the man obviously doesn't give a darn about anything but himself and his cronies. I suspect he even harbors disdain for the very people who elected him. To him,, they are just a vote, and after he used these idiots for their ballot, he threw them away and raised their taxes.

100 years of government schools + 5 years of the MSM being his collective PR firm = millions of ignorant followers.

The cult of Obama is based on the power of an effective propaganda machine. Tell the lies long enough and loud enough and people will begin to believe you. See Germany and Austria in the 1930's. You are correct about his disdain. He is an elitist socialist who has and will continue to say what will get uninformed and gullible people to do his bidding. It's about the power, not the service. Glib is an understatement.

He represents the ideology his cultists follow. That's what you're missing. He embodies the political will to implement what they want done. Nothing else matters. Not hypocrisy, not lying, not deceit of any kind. The end justifies the means and the end is "the fundamental transformation of the United States."

It's really that simple.

Every president is some combination of politics and statesmanship. Obama just happens to be 90%-plus toward politics. His end-game is not solving the nation's problems or working for growing prosperity; his assignment is to make sure Democrats stay in power.

Unfortunately, his MSM allies collude to make sure that he can always be on the offensive, putting the Republicans always on the defensive.

Many of the Obama supporters I know are so uninformed and delusional about the state of our country all they know is the little bit of the lib press they get. As much as I try to inform them about our national debt, paying attention to all those G's coming out of their pockets each year, how the government wastes so much money....it falls on deaf ears. I believe they all voted for Obama again and I'm the only person in my office that spoke out against the man and that I wouldn't voted for the liar. I think the ignorant are now a majority and I don't see much hope with our current school system for any real change.

They know that it's all Bush's fault.
Back in my teaching days, many years ago, one of the things I liked to ask the class to consider was this: Imagine a government agency with only two tasks: (1) building statues of Benedict Arnold and (2) providing life-saving medications to children. If this agency's budget were cut, what would it do?

The answer, of course, is that it would cut back on the medications for children. Why? Because that would be what was most likely to get the budget cuts restored. If they cut back on building statues of Benedict Arnold, people might ask why they were building statues of...
