Dancing a Little Jig on Progressive’s Shattered Dreams

Mr. Hunter appears to have forgotten the smack in the face conservatives got earlier in the year in Ohio, where a union-stripping law was overwhelmingly repealed by referendum! Yes, the voters of Wisconsin didn't fire their governor, an extreme action, for his bad behavior. He escaped (barely, and with outspending his rival 8 to 1!) to live another day. But he's wounded politically and he won't be doing any more rash things I suspect.

this is what was happening here, aureomycin. a teacher or govt worker retiring with full pay would get a lump sum presented, including unused sick leave, unused personal leave and unused vacation. after 20 years this could come to $40,000 (my estimate based on $100 a day, 20 days per year). it would come to even more if interest accrued. aurora, even warren buffet would be tempted. i wish i knew about this when i was hired in 1971, what a deluded fool i was.

We won, you lost. Get used to the "feeling" as it will happen again soon!

Wounded politically?? What bizarro world are you living in? That misery you liberals felt on Wednesday will be nothing compared to November when the Messiah gets fired.

He barely won?

While you prattle on with the Democrat talking points, I'd like to submit to you that his victory will enable more governors nationwide to take on the thugs who are ruining the labor market.

I submit to you that the Wisconsin Democrat debacle is a preview of coming attractions in November. And you may rest assured, Aura, that the entire country will be dancing a little jog when we see Obama depart on Air Force One for his last trip out of DC. Hopefully, bad weather in Chicago will cause the pilot to divert to Kenya.

There is no barely in 54% to 45%, in 2008 you turkeys called such a gap a MANDATE.

The 8 to 1 spending narrative is a lie not supported by the facts, what's more is you know that, making you a liar, not just another ill informed media matters moron.

REALLY, you liberal jerks will say anything, regardless of the total absurdity of your positions.

Credibility is something difficult to repair, once destroyed.

What a week!

It won’t end up being a week where people ask you “Where were you when…” as you drink beers 20 years from now. But the recall election results in Wisconsin were like Christmas in June. There’s something about tears of disappointment from liberal progressives that makes my liberty-loving heart smile.

How awesome was that? And by awesome I mean hilarious. Any time you make a guy wearing a Boston Red Sox hat cry by voting against a Democrat union stooge it’s a good day. There was one bright spot for Leftists on election night…MSNBC,...
