How about Congress NOT BEING PAID for time off? That might keep them working, or at least pretending to be working. When they are in session it appears they just waste our time and money! Sessions ought to begin with a definite bullet list of items to accomplish to conclusion and stay in session until everything on the list is accomplishedt. I would love to be a "time manager" for Congress and keep them on task. It is "the folks" like you and me, real Americans loving our country, who know how to get things done and hold folks accountable! Can anyone recall an action taken by Congress in recent years that truly, unarguably benefited "We the People"?

Just when I think government cannot get anymore stupid they do! This is an outrageous act of power over the people! People lived off the land for thousands of years. Have you heard of one who died from eating venison? Years ago my cousin died while hunting deer but it was from a crazy hunters bullet and he bled to death. I have friends today who live in MT, WY, CO, UT who hunt every deer season, have the meat processed and frozen. They eat for months on the bounty which really cuts down on costs of feeding their families. How can this insanity be stopped?

I have followed Dr. Ben Carson's career since he was a very young man. Never have I read or heard one negative thing about or against him. Dr. Carson has performed some incredibly complex surgeries on children no other physician would or could. He is truly an example of a strong mother who put her sons first and encouraged them every step of the way to be honest, upstanding citizens. Thank God he had the guts to speak his thoughts right in front of Obama! This is a Godly man of great character and dedication to his profession.

The world worships materialism and anything that is "fun", all which are provided abundantly by Satan and his minions. If it feels good - do it is their cry. Biden and Pelosi and many other Catholics have strayed far from their faith but like to promote their "beliefs". It is obvious their beliefs are in a liberal, left-wing, corrupt government and money, money, money. We who are believers know God is ultimately in control and every person will one day stand before Him in judgement. Every one of us has the choice to make freely how we will live our lives. I thank the Lord everyday for His love and mercy to me. He blesses me richly day-after-day and asks nothing in return but loving Him and loving others as He loves. Pretty simple!

Gov. Lincoln Chafey of Rhode Island will be on Bill O'Reilly this evening to discuss his opposition to calling a Christmas tree a Christmas tree and why he thinks holiday tree is more acceptable. Should be interesting - I expect Bill might just rip Chafey up one side and down the other. Last evening he had an atheist on his show who did not really fare well against Bill.

BK22 - excellent reply! I live in southern CA. In my small community there are probably half a dozen churches who hold services in a rented public school building every Sunday. Many of the largest churches began years ago in a school building until they could find a suitable site of their own. I'm sure this occurs throughout the US. Maybe the "grinchy" parents who are down on "Charlie Brown" Christmas don't know it or it would give them another ridiculous cause! lol As we all know "CB CHristmas" is about kindness to others and teaches kids a great lesson. My daughters & grandkids grew up watching every year - I still look forward to CB every year - I'm 72 y/o. The message is sweet and the intent pure! The "grinchy" folks should shut

One has to wonder how Romney would have fared had Marco Rubio been the VP on his ticket. Could that have changed the Hispanic vote dramatically? We will never know. Looking ahead to 2014 and 2016 the GOP must come up with some very different candidates if they expect to win. I do agree there are far too many old, white males in both parties who need to go. We definitely need term limits for Congress to keep it from becoming what it is today. These career politicians do not have new, fresh, young ideas and contribute more of the same - both parties! Most of those in Congress have never held a "real job", like the Pres & VP. We have got to do better as a country. I am an Independent and do not identify with either party.

This has always been a left-wing liberal lie. But, it sure scared many pastors and churches from being too "political" and fearful. How convenient the IRS didn't make this known months ago when it would have changed the face of this campaign. Our pastors have always told us to exercise our right to vote, and vote for Biblical truths which I have done all my life. I do not need anyone to tell me what my heart and mind know is right and truthful. I serve a loving God and I love my country!
