Gingrich won in South Carolina due to a KO of John King and Juan Williams.....Media only. He is endorsed by Herman Cain and practically endorsed by Sarah Palin ( a crony from Fox TV (Palin) and a buddy from Georgia (Cain) ....two with less than stellar performances in the area of values. Can Gringrich make a comback after Florida if he loses? Chris Matthews - on liberal MSNBC described Newt this morning as Freddy Krueger...... Even if Gingrich bows out of the race (unlikely for the near future), he's such a vicious person that he will keep coming back and coming back on news stations as the one man army who will try and destroy Romney and any hope of a GOP victory in the fall. That's how the man will probably operate ...as a maniac..

Romney Should be Proud

Romney had the weight of the world lifted from his shoulders last night. He was more relaxed, fired up, hard hitting and had a great defense and offense. The fact that his taxes were laid bare and his wealth was now known to media and public, cleared his mind. I believe, for some strange reason, he had thought these two factors were a detriment in the debates and I'm glad he had a lot of people telling him to get the taxes out now. Otherwise, he may have again been a little timid in the debates and may have helped Gingrich further in his polling. He had a new debate coach as well. Go Romney!!!
Gingrich, In addition to being caught in hypocrisy and delusion by his opponents, was lackluster due to his anger, IMO. For the last few days, it was reported that he stated he was mad in campaigning to his audiences in Florida. I believe he may have carried his anger to the debate which clouded his thinking and made him less effective with his usual quips, punches and slick lines. This would also play into his emotional instability which so many people in his past associations have remarked about. I think we see a candidate that "hugs the ropes" when confronted with a good bit of opposition....not the He-Man super hero that deceives voters. After Florida, the count will be 10 and out. Romney becomes the champ
I agree. Romney looks and acts Presidential and would be a striking contrast to Obama. I believe that foreign leaders would become more respectful and cautious of this country by the very nature of his stance and demeanor when dealing with policy.
I'm with you Dave. I have grown to like Santorum more. I actually believe he is the "true conservative" in the race. One of the things I've never like about Santorum, however, is that at the outset of the debates he seemed whiney and smirky when making comments. He's gotten rid of the whiney but still has the smirky. If he can make a statement without making a face, that would be a plus for him in my opinion. He may come in second in Florida. Romney is the real deal but if he can't get through Florida (unlikely) or the southern primaries successfully then I could be happy with Santorum.
Moondoggie exits the stage with his tail between his legs.....".nuf"f said. Romney rules! Santorum moves up.....Gingrich falls with this debate.
Newt Gingrich Admits He Was Wrong To Tell John King He Offered Witnesses To ABC News http://www.mediaite.com/tv/newt-gingrich-admits-he-was-wrong-to-tell-john-king-he-offered-witnesses-to-abc-news/ Guess Town Hall is sleeping on this one. Go Romney!
It looks like she's finally good for somethin".
I agree. I'm for Mitt. Gingrich is not fooling any intelligent person. If he can't win a debate honestly or answer questions honestly, , he'll rely on his quips for victory. Newt's followers in these audiences should revert to Stephen Colbert if they want entertainment. That's their speed.
