should keep their homophobia to themselves.

No one in any environment has the right to harrass anyone sexually. Whether it's man-woman, woman-man, man-man, woman-woman. The military is a 'workplace' and therefore any rules that apply in the workplace apply in the military. If anyone tries to force, intimidate, shame, or in any way makes another feel uncomfortable in a sexual way, that's grounds for punishment.

Just because you're gay doesn't mean you're attracted to ANYONE of the opposite sex. And it doesn't mean you're going to attack or force anyone.

Frankly, DADT is a stupid, discriminatory law. If someone isn't "man" enough and is so intimidated by being in the same unit with a gay man, then they...
that straight people are also forbidden from talking about their sexual activities? If it doesn't apply to everyone then it IS discrimination. And if you're talking about your sex life on the job, or on duty -- what's up with that anyway? You're not supposed to do that in a non-military American company, so why do it in the military??

Gay people should join the military, be deployed to dangerous areas of the world and possibly be asked to die for others, even though they are not 'allowed' to discuss their sexual orientation while their straight comrades can?

Ya think? How's that gonna work??? Nooo --sorry that's not how it works. If they face discrimination or if the law is different for them than why would they...

Thomas Defends Campaign Finance Decision

Not buying your rant. Thomas, Alito, Roberts -- they're all disgusting -- they're just political tools put in there by Bush 1 and Number 2.

Don't hide under the Racist Rock -- Thomas is a putz -- I don't give a rat's behind what color he is.
The guy in front of him was a jerk. How exactly did Romney "face him down??" He asked him to move his seat upright, the guy refused, had a tantrum and Romney let the flight attendant handle it. How is that even worth mentioning? Does this mean Romney has some hidden qualifications -- that this is a test of something??

Jessup is an idiot, and you guys are grasping at straws if you think this proves any point whatsoever.

nitwits out there who have fallen for this...

Let me remind you: YOU were the ones who empowered Palin -- the reactionary right-wing Hate Obama gang -- and ONLY you-- the rest of the U.S. could care less what she thinks or "calls" for.

She calls for his dismissal? Who gives a rat's behind WHAT she calls for?? If she wants to "call" for something -- let her call for a pizza - it will have as much impact on the rest of the world as this lame move.

You call her "governor" forgetting that she duped the people of AK to vote for her to serve their needs and then she quits to write a book that earned her millions while she made up a bunch of hooey about "progressing in another direction." It's hysterically funny that...

As if anyone but White Trash would do anything the Limbaugh (AKA Steaming Pile of Feces)suggested... You go ahead though and tell the Asians, Black, and other ethnic groups that Limbaugh wants them to do that.

Let's see how that's gonna work for you.

Republicans Smarter than Democrats?

Repubs and the ones that other Repubs trust the most are:

Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck.

How dumb do you even have to be to ASK the question of who's smarter??? The 3 Stooges named above are considered leaders in the Repub. party. They are worshipped for their ignorant comments, racism and overall cluelessness about life.

No contest. Repubs. these days are stupider than they've ever been. Even dumber than the "Amiable Dunce" their hero - Reagan

Providing health care to 30 million more Americans is vicious and cruel!!! And certainly maintaining the health of 30 million more Americans will destroy this country.

We should have a country where only the wealthy get medical care and those who can't afford it -- well tough shiit. Then we'd be one strong country!!

Oh wait -- sorry that idea has already been done. In South America, and in the Middle East and Africa where those who can't afford health care die from diseases like influenza, pneumonia, measles -- all preventable IF you can afford it. And, look how powerful those African countries are!! Look how advanced!!!
Brown can write a book or 2 or 10 if he wants -- you don't have to have any credibility to write a book. Who cares? Everyone in politics gets a ghost-writer and puts out a book. Look at the Palin book. It's just an angry rant from a nincompoop who thinks she's a big celeb. while all the while knocking celebrities. She sold a bucketload of drivel - but hey it's a free country.

Palin's book proves that selling a book doesn't get you respect from your colleagues, or credibility. It just gets you noticed by your particular "choir" and makes you wealthy.

As for Brown: He won against a really terrible candidate. Kennedy held the seat for a long time and people wanted change. If he can craft a book on that and people...
