Romney went to the NAACP convention, you are correct in inviting Obama. Obama is hiding under his desk, and is sending Biden instead. While they booed Romney at the suggestion he would do away with Obama care, they gave him a tremendous standing ovation at the end. When I was watching his speech, all of a sudden, like a Road Runner cartoon, I swore I could see the grandest pair of brass balls standing there behind the podium that I have ever seen. Walked right into the lion's den and almost the first thing out of his mouth was about Obama care.

GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney just wrapped up his speech to the NAACP convention in Houston, focusing mostly on the economy and education reform. Right out of the gate, Romney received laughs from the crowd after cracking a joke about President Obama.

“I appreciate the chance to speak first – even before Vice President Biden gets his turn tomorrow.  I just hope the Obama campaign won’t think you’re playing favorites."
