Israel was formed in 1948, along with many other new states. To date, 60 more new nations have emerged and Israel is the only one whose right to exist is questioned.

Last year I worked with a Social Studies teacher from Chicago, and she too is an admitted communist. She also maintains that she keeps her opinions to herself except when the communist topic emerges.

When she was quizzed about the failings of communism and human nature, she quit discussing the topic with me.

When will people learn that socialism and communism just don't work. Look at European socialism: there are the very rich, and working poor and, similar to us, a shrinking to nonexistent middle-class.

The topic is HRW's bias against Israel, while ignoring HR abuses in most other lands.

BTW: Muslims and women are allowed to vote in Israel, and it is a democratic land, with a free media; a fact that most of the Middle-East and Europe ignores.

As another teacher, I am sick of the protections provided those with "ADD" "ADHD" "Bipolar" and numerous other disorders. The ba$+@rd who shot up the VA Teach campus had problems, but the university did zip fearing a lawsuit. If memory serves, a university in New York or D.C. was successfully sued by an individual with emotional disorders. Why, the university refused to admit him.
