You and Original King are not just non-believers, you're also ignorant of religion, which is not always the case with atheists, just the loudmouth hostile ones. Thinking atheists KNOW the differences between Islam and Christianity, their foundational beliefs and historic track record. Unlike you, they do not conflate Christianity, the foundation of every last successful country on earth today (except Japan) with the best living standard including human rights with Islam and its 57 failed states, some propped up by unearned oil wealth but all human rights disasters. Your kind of atheist is like a rooster that crows and thinks he made the sun come up when it was Christianity that shone the sun/blessings on us, believers and non alike.

I see some power hungry barbarians in both religions. And I know how slap-happy proud people like you are of your religion. For some years now, we have been told about a major division within American conservatism: fiscal conservatives vs. social conservatives.

This division is hurting conservatism and hurting America -- because the survival of American values depends on both fiscal and social conservatism. Furthermore, the division is logically and morally untenable. A conservative conserves all American values, not just economic ones.

By "social conservatism," I am referring to the second and third components of what I call the American Trinity -- liberty, "In God We Trust" and "E Pluribus Unum."

It is worth noting that a similar bifurcation does not exist on the left. One...
