Poignant commentary, Michelle, on hypocrisy so blatant from the current Democrat crew that they barely try to conceal it anymore.
Newt was unflinching and truthful in response to Williams' loaded questions. I admire Gingrich for not falling into the "apology trap" that Williams set for him.
Jeez, boyjanitor, you are knocking yourself out today. Are you paid by the comment?

Good question, Chuck. Like it or not, these candidates are the ones poised to take on Pres. Obama. I do like aspects of each one, and having them on the same side will be a huge factor in holding the current president to one term.
As Bufa implied, trying to focus this enormously important presidential race on social issues is something that we expect the crafty Democrats to do. It won't work. A huge swath of the American public is focused on what really matters -- fiscal sanity and a robust economy that can be best be achieved by living within our means and limiting the size and scope of an intrusive government.
Great analysis of the debate. I've listened to Juan Williams many times on Fox and always considered him rational and within reason, and so was surprised when he pulled the "victim" questioning on Gingrich, seemingly to make Gingrich squirm with some sort of apologetic response. Instead, Gingrich instantly fires truth with laser precision -- evaporating Williams in his seat. If anyone blew it last night, it was Juan Williams.
