Obama's Exit Strategy

You’re right on the money. I almost never agree with Pat on anything. The One is making a huge mistake. I don't see how the younger generations are going to see the military as an honorable profession after this clown drags us through a cesspool in search of defeat. God I despise these arrogant bumblers in charge. Watch for them to exit and cut off funds; just like Vietnam. They'll walk away saying there was no way we could win anyway so what's the harm. Idiots!!!
Brian

You throw out the number 300 so quickly, but where do you get this magic number. I'm not trying to pick on you per se, but the only people I’ve seen bandying this 300 about are liberals. Now I have been in a news vacuum here in Afghanistan this year and Iraq the previous three years; so I may be ignorant of said trials. The reality here is that Mr. Hill is asking the same questions any sane American is asking. We don't buy into the suicide pact that we are being asked to sign on to. These yucks were in the middle of their military trials when the One decided that it was not fitting or proper and had them halted. Even though said thugs have already pleaded guilty and wanted their own executions; so that they could die...

Nixon made the choice to leave Vietnam after he was pressured into it by the lefties at home; just like they tried to pressure GWB to abandon Iraq. It was also the left that cut off all funding and support for the South Vietnamese after we drew down that resulted in victory by the North. Sounds familiar to what we have going on with Iraq now and soon to be Afghanistan in July 2011. I seem to remember that the ONE put that out; right after he decided to do the mini surge this year. Also as a veteran of OIF and OEF I can tell you that no soldier was ever deployed without body armor. The issue was up armored vehicles and the only units to have up armored HMMVs were Special Operations. The conventional army never thought about needing...

The One wants the house to burn down and if a few firefighters go up with it; that’s just the price of doing business. Anyway those firefighters should have know what they were getting into they volunteered to go into the burning house. No remorse in the White House.
That why I despise this administration and their hangers on.

Currently it’s Afghanistan. The country that I served for 22 yrs is not the country whack jobs like Indy1 believe it was before the One came to save us all. I fully understood what my country asked of me and gave it my best. I never ever saw those creepy black helicopters swooping down to pick up innocent Americans to fly them off to detention centers. All your boo hooing about Bush the fascist; was just a distraction from the reality that you see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil unless it’s someone to the right of you politically. This whole trial is not about investigating torture; it’s a charade to embarrass the former administration and our country. I asked another liberal on Cal Thomas’s thread yesterday. What makes you...

I usually tune Pat out because of his isolationist views, but he hit this one out of the park.Good Job
The only thing those thugs deserve is to be stood up against the wall and shot. Those people were captured on the battlefield not picked up of the street in America. They are not freedom fighters no matter what your fevered imagination tells you. Your hero FDR set the precedence for military tribunals during WWII. He had enemy agents tried and executed post haste after their capture. So balanced as some one who has been targeted by thugs like these; I want to know why you love them more than me a veteran who has sacrificed in countless ways so you can be unbalanced and spew your ideology at will.

There is no need for PC regarding Muslims. They should be taken for who they are on an individual basis just like everyone else. It has become quite clear that there is a see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil about Muslims in the progressive liberal's mindset. What is clear as day to ordinary Americans is the attempts by a lot of liberal organizations and people to muddy the waters by claiming racism, PSTD, and that MAJ Hasam just snapped. William for all your preaching about tolerance I see a lot of intolerance in you post claiming lies and deception by Rich Tucker. I’m a tolerant guy up to a point, but when that point is reached forget it. My tolerance goes something like this.

Racism didn't make this scumball crack. his religous beliefs warring with his duty to the country did. He couldn't reconcile them with his comitment to the nation as an Army Officer.

"Maybe Hasan is just a homicidal lunatic set to work by fevered demons inside his brain. But post-9/11, you can't be a killer who happens to be a Muslim. If you're a killer, it has to be because you're a Muslim."

Liberals are quick to throw the right wing Christian card, but don’t you dare tar someone else because of their extreme religious beliefs. In Hasan’s own words he showed that his religion was the root of his twisted fevered demons Chapman sites as his reason for his traitorous acts. You can stick your head in the sand only so long before you suffocate. I have been in Iraq and am now in Afghanistan and I know that not all Muslims are homicidal maniacs like Hasan, but the ones that are violent give themselves away by...
