I could never understand the original concept
of SS or Medicare benefits . Yes, as your
income earned taxes are placed into the system , hoping at some point you might need
the benefits . Why , if at your 'retirement'
age means one is ' entitled' to the benefit?
I can understand if you income level equals a
need, if one is able to afford their lifestyle,
without assistance , why is it even offered to a person because they hit that certain number ?
To me you put into the system to help the current retirees, and as you hit your age later in life , the next wage earners put into the system . Retirees file income tax returns. Why
isn't this based on an income level rather than an entitlement ? Yes, many seniors...

Yet in the past eight months , Obamas congressional spending has surpassed all the totals including Bush's freefall spending.
Every ' State of the Union ' speech, a sitting
president will make reference that we have to get our fisacl spending in order. Apparently ,
congress doesn't hear that part.

Ben Bernanke speech in Washington, Nov 2002 at the National Economists Club:

But the US government has a teconology called a
printing press that allows it to produce as many
US dollars as it wishes at essentially no costs."
With this attitude to juice an economy, turn
on the printing press, make an easy-to -get -out
of borrowed money at low interest rates .
The Bush years 2000-08 spent borrowed dollars,
totaling all previous adminstrations combined.

After reading your statement , I checked out
the senate bill S.773 . Very scary indeed.
Page 50 line 4 (def. of CYBER ) part (B),
' any matter relating to, or involving the
use of , computers or computer networks.'
means the government can by law with this bill
determine what is cyber-security is .
Page 21 line 3 (e) - involves the FCC with
their development of the FCC NATIONAL
BROADBAND PLAN. The basis of the plan is working with the CITI ( columbia institute for tele-information ) as an outside expert in the project . The CITI director is Eli Noam who has stated in interviews that the internet medium of information is the only form of media that's not yet regulated . In an FCC statement Noam said...

If the government paged into the bill any
' government ' option , single payer , etc.plan.
When the medical profession determines a
precedure that results in any government involvement and results in any ligitation setlement who get sued ? Not the government , the medical profession gets slapped , yet it could be from a government mandate. Your doctor would be liable not uncle sam .How fair is that ? That in itself would drive doctors from the medical field .Why do you think there are endless tests done today on medicare and medicaid patients . Yet the congress will still
not even consider tort reform aspect .

The question is how many dems are going to be
supportive of Obama during the remaining term
of his presidency ? The republican party was
walking away from GW during his downfall.

In the months leading into the ' health ' debates, the current adminstration addressed the
economy by doing things that in past history has
never worked repeat NEVER worked. People started
to wonder , about what they voted into office .
They looked into health care and didn't like what they read . The reaction by the admistration was , gee what happen ? Here we have control of both houses and the big house.
We're suppose to just slide right through with our agendas, the public loves us . Ratings were
up comming off the election as lame duck Bush
presidency was still tanking day by day. Obama
was on a roll. Now the wheels are bogged down
and they are grasping at straws . Not what this
adminstration...

A former US senator who campaigns on bring a
change to Washington ? Didn't he realize one
man cannot change years of gridlock in congress
especially went he was one of the problems while
in congress ? Now things aren't going as planned
the health debate is the least of his worries.
With public support sinking on everything the adminstration is doing , even his own party seems to be at odds .It's hard enough fighting
the opposite side of the aisle let alone your
own. He's losing his far left support , staying
in Iraq and now the problem increasing in Afghanistan . Moderate dems and independents are
walking away . Only leaves the middle left. He's going to have a long 3 1/2 years . With both chambers of...
