Is an "Assault Magazine" the thing that the Science Officer "Ash" tried to jam down Sigourney Weaver's (Ripley) throat as he was trying to kill her? He "assaulted" her with that magazine so it is, in effect, an "assault magazine". Is that what you mean Aunt Nasty? Oh how sweet it is to be in the elite class, to be protected by your own personal security, to have a concealed carry license and yet to feel such compassion for the commoners. I just want to thank Aunt Nasty for being so caring that she is willing to take my semi-automatic handgun out of my hands so that bad guys and crazies won't be offended that I would try to end their miserable existence if they try to harm me or my family.

The term "assault weapons" has been thrown around a lot in the past few days and a lot in the past 20 years by Democrats. "Assault weapon" is term that was made up in the 1990s when the first Assault Weapons Ban was passed under President Clinton. There is no such thing as an assault weapon and when we ask for a definition of the term, we rarely get one.

Assault is a crime. Aggravated assault is a crime involving a weapon. Be it a bat, bottle or Bushmaster.
