New York Nannie Gone Wild

Why not ban slurpees, or ice cream shakes or quarter pounders with cheese or double whoppers or snickers or....well the list could go on and on. And I'm betting that Nanny Bloomberg has a list already and is readying his food police to implement his restrictive policies. I wonder if they'll wear Brown Shirts or Black Shirts.

New York Times: We Deserve the Soda Ban

I have a message for the people of NYC; BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR YOU JUST MIGHT GET IT. It starts with Nanny Bloomberg and the food police regulating the size of your soda. Then they regulate the size of your portions. Then they regulate the number of meals you eat a day. Then they build more prisons and "re-education" compounds for those not willing to go along.

I have a spare pair of eyeglasses that you are welcome to borrow.
It's kind of a shame that her talk at the Temple was cancelled. DWS is one of the best things that could happen for the Republicans. It seems that every time she opens her mouth she jams her foot into it. It would have been better for our Ms. Debbie to give her talk, spew her lies, half truths and misinterpretations of what Republicans have said and then let Mr. Tate or other well informed folks reply to her progressive BS point by point. Heck invite the press, the more coverage she gets the broader her lies. Missed opportunity if you ask me.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah Thanks for the laugh. Joe Byedum is going to go down in history as the dumbest Veep the country as ever known.
Shelly doesn't believe in "Big Government" since that would imply that there is something other then an all invasive, all powerful big brother watching over us poor stupid citizens who are too dumb or too lazy to even make correct and/or healthy food choices for our families. The opposite of "Big Government" would be a smaller less intrusive government and Shelly just doesn't understand that concept. For her and Barry government is everything, the answer to every problem, the solution to every crisis. Give Barry and Shelly another four years and they'll figure out a way to have big brother government monitoring what you are doing in your own house, probably through the use of a mandatory government television with camcorder .

It's None of the Government's Business

Each time the government gets a little bit more intrusive, they also get a little bit closer to asking the question that the bureaucrats are just dying to ask; how many guns do you own. They desperately want to rip away our Second Amendment rights, take our firearms away, deny Americans the right to protect themselves and their families and make all of us totally dependent on the Nanny State government.
You said what I'm thinking..
Oh God I hope she stays on as DNC Chair...she's one of the best things that could happen for the Romney campaign. Between her and Bydum Romney just has to keep his own gaffes under control and let the Democrats destroy themselves.
I wonder why the NOW isn't spitting mad over the portrayal of Julia as a woman who can basically do nothing for herself; she needs help in every aspect of her life from pre-school on up until retirement. I thought that today's women were supposed to be strong and self sufficient and smart and capable but instead poor Julia can do nothing without "Big Brother" standing beside her and holding her hand. But I suppose the modern American woman as portrayed by Julia is a perfect match for the modern American male who has been neutered, coddled, pampered and finally tossed aside.
