he should have supported Hoffman from the beginning.
all i got for my trip to Washington on 9/12 was a lousy tee-shirt. We can make a difference.
everything he reads off those teleprompters. He would agree that he does have one shortcoming. He can't fully comprehend just how wonderful he really is. I don't think i can get through hearing his voice as he gives his address on Wednesday as he tells us how lucky we are to be blessed with his presence.
this is the beginning of people in the political arena actually making decisions based on what is good for our country instead of personal gain. As a South Carolinian, i sure hope Lindsey Graham gets this message loud and clear. RINO's need not apply. This has given me much hope and a renewed resolve to continue the fight for our country.
i participated in many conversations that included concerns about the wars. But since such a small number showed up on Saturday per the MSM, we can't do everything. What are you doing besides making snarky comments here to people that are trying....albeit a little late....but are actively trying to bring about real change instead of just listening to politicians use the word as a hook for multiple speeches.
it really is too bad we all weren't paying attention during the Clinton and Bush years. A lot of what we need to clean up now could have been avoided. As for myself, i was working and living my life as i assume many Americans were and wasn't really plugged in politically. But i am awake now and it is pointless for you to continue to beat us up about it. All i can do now is get involved and try to make a difference. Stop the blame game and help us now.

As for the wars, best talk to your buddy Obama about those. It may not be popular here to say this, but i want our men and women home. Unless there is an obtainable goal with a timeline and plans to achieve this goal to finish what we started, i just want our soldiers home.
i had a wonderful conversation with an older African American woman. The reason i point out her race is to further refute the claims that this was a white, racist event. This lovely woman carried a sign that read "It is not racist to question Barack Obama: it is just smart." During our chat i discovered that we shared many of the same concerns about our country and the disturbing direction it is being taken by politicians that purport to have our best interest in mind. We are more alike then different if we will just take the time to listen to each other.
and after attending the March on Washington i am even more energized to continue the fight to keep our country from being spent into bankruptcy. I met many wonderful people this weekend that share my concern for what is happening in Washington and it was exciting and humbling to be a part of such an event. Let's stop this childish bickering with people that don't want to hear the truth about the hundreds of thousands of people that were at the rally. The true number will come out. We have more important things to discuss and plan. Let those that dismiss this true grassroots movement continue to understimate us. Let's then use that to keep us energized for the work that is ahead. And next time our numbers will be even greater.

Great post. I shared this with my husband who was miffed because he didn't write it first. You and he write/think very much alike.
What the "cash for clunkers" scheme tells me, is that money put directly into taxpayers hands to be used as they see fit would have been the best stimulator for our ailing economy. Tax cuts would have helped more then the spendilus package and other lost projects. Obama said he saved us from going into a depression with spending $67b of the stimulous money. So why spend the rest of the $700+b if we have been brought back from the brink of disaster? We are wasting record amounts of $$$$ on a daily basis then we could ever have imagined. For instance, someone should investigate the $60b the Communist "Green" Czar has spent without creating one job, well except for his i suppose. Wake up people. We are under attack and this time it...
