Oh, it did not. States depend on Fed help and Christie remains a conservative Republican. He just was not going to be rude to the Office of POTUS just because you hate the guy in that office.

Well, he's been snubbed by the Conservative Political Action Committee's annual convention, and vice versa, so I suppose that he'll be switching parties soon.
