The Media and the Mob

My late uncle was a police chief for a town in South Jersey. After he retired I discussed a case in another town where the police shot a man who wielded a knife, after refusing the officer's request to drop it. I suggested that the cop could have shot him in the leg. My uncle said i would be dead if that happened, because they had been taught that the perpetrator could throw the knife.

Oh, it's a religion, and it's a destructive one. Atheists want to keep everyone else from practicing their religion. We don't care if you're atheists. When we die, if we're wrong, so what? If you're wrong, whoa! Not everything can be based on science, because many things cannot be explained, such as the migration of monarch butterflies to a place they've never been, and their offspring continuing the return journey to a place they've never been. Good luck with your science, and try to solve the age-old question of what happens after we die?

We're not more free than we were when I was in grade school and high school, when removing God from anything was not a consideration, and people believed in a strong family unit. What has happened since one idiot was offended by school prayer, and what has accelerated under a moron president and anti-American Democrats, is pitiful!

Absolutely true, and you put me on to Pope Pius XI's encyclical on communism, which should be standard reading for all Americans, along with "The Naked Communist."

Close, but learn the difference between "your" and "you're."

What First Amendment rights? No one is guaranteed the right to enter into a contract with a baker or photographer. You pretty much have the right to buy anything in the store, but the proprietor may choose who he or she wants to do customized business with. Discrimination only applies to race, color, creed, and now, age or sex. Unusual sexual practices aren't covered, as much as holder and obama would like them to be.

It has more to do with it being beyond the pale, rather than whether or not it has ever been done. Two people of the same sex were not meant to engage in sex with each other. If they had been, men would be able to get pregnant, and the plumbing would be different.

You meant, "affect." "Effect" is usually a noun, an exception being, for example, "to effect a change." That being said, your theories are ridiculous. Homosexuals now want to change society for the worst. Why can't you 1.7 to 3 percent just do your own thing and stop interfering? I don't care what stupid things you do as long as you stop trying to get the approval of people who will never approve. Getting activist judges to subvert the will of the people isn't really winning, is it? It's nothing more than forcing your opinions on others who don't want them.

Or, you could look at it more realistically, the way we used to, and recognize homosexuality as an abomination against God, and a filthy perversion that leads only to despair.

Yes, Darb, and most people either can't see it, or refuse to believe it.
