Without a doubt, this gut reaction by Obama along with Clinton's stomach curdling pronouncements on this issue - coming in the wake of the administration's assumption of control over the country's financial, industrial, and health institutions - leaves America with nothing inherently American. These developments are as shameful as they are tragic.

There is something decidedly parasitic about Sig's problem with Mona Charen's plain, not to mention intelligent, observations. It is as if Sig finds subsistence only in the bleeding undersides of the lives of others. It is only when a person's own life is so shallow - lacking even a trace of meaningful content - that the rancid entrails of those such as unnecessarily exposed by the governor make good eating.
