Black Americans and Liberty

About 2 yrs. my husband & I invited my brother from the city to live w/us in the country, as my my mother was could not afford to feed him. Also, he had no job & stayed in trouble w/the police. My husband who is white had my brother (who is black) to help him do labor on our farm. This was during the presidential election year. While working on front part of property near the highway, a white democrat political candidate was driving by, pulled into the driveway & confronted my husband telling him that he was working my brother too hard & insisted that hubby give my brother some water.
