You left out the very important part of my post:

Context is important. I certainly dont think that the government should decide what we eat, quite the contrary. If I want to supplement my diet with MOTOR OIL, I should be able to make that choice myself.

My fundamental point was, if you dont like the program, take action to get rid of it rather than complain about the details.

Under this program, someone has to serve these kids food. That someone has to be paid. That someone is likely to be a union member. So what?

Would you rather have an illegal alien serving your kids food? No one (besides an illegal alien) is going to work that job for the chicken scratch they get paid unless there are some added benefits. When your paycheck barely covers normal living expenses, you can't miss even one day. Having sick days would cover that.

As for the government controlling what these kids eat... isnt that their job?!?! They are feeding kids, so they control what they feed them. If you want me to feed your kid for free I decide what they eat. I eat healthy. So will these kids. No likie? Feed em...

This divisive crap is whats screwing up our country and its what we need to work on. Ever hear of divide and conquer? No outside country needs to do that to us- we are doing it ourselves.

Its third party time. I cant find a home with either party as a social liberal and a fiscal conservative.
