Based on gun sales over the last 5 years and the number of Concealed Carry permits issued, up to 30% of Americans are carrying concealed weapons. Spread it around and watch gun crime fall.

This issue has nothing to do with politics - for once, the people have spoken by contacting their government representatives in a voice clearly and of such volume that the politicians - both Republican and Democrat - are listening and voting (or are indicating such intention) against the proposed redundant legislation. Otherwise, why would dyed in in the wool Senate Dems vote against it?

What do we do about our Pravda... oops, I mean our media? How do we demand 'fair and balanced' reporting? Our Freedoms are what we are about. Why should they be given up?

If there EVER was a good reason to have an across-the-board taxation system in the US it is now! By nature of the percentage tax, individuals and Corporations pay a proportionate share. The only deduction would be for interest paid which encourages businesses (employers) to borrow to expand to strengthen our economy.

The Supreme Court decided that Corporations are Individuals in the eyes of the Government and Legal System (hence the title CORPoration). Therefore, under the eyes of the law and Government, there are no Corporations, only individuals. So there is no Facebook Corporation, only an individual named Facebook. Anyone can be a corporation - just file the appropriate paperwork. If that's all it takes to avoid the tax hikes now in effect, I'm starting - that's right - a Corporation that provides a one-stop shop for everybody to become a corporation. Finally, what about those in the entertainment industry which is specifically 'excused' by the 'Fiscal Cliff' legislation recently passed?
