You are, unfortunately, entirely too correct. I was thinking just about the same thing. We tolerate all kinds of acts of atrocity against images of Jesus, but let someone make a film that is anti-Islam and the Obama administration finds a way to throw him in prison. I thought exactly the same about Sharia law. Who will be surprised when the Obama administration comes out in total support of it? Not me, or you.
