The definition of human rights has become so nebulous that it is often applied to breaking the law when the law doesn't suit you. So you don't feel like going through the legal process to become an American. It is your right to break the law, then, isn't it? If anyone opposes you, they are evil incarnate.

Human rights and citizen rights are not equivalent. If you are not a citizen of the United States, and you are not here legally, you are breaking the law. Your human rights in America are that you will not be treated in the U.S. like you are in Mexico — held for ransom, tortured, and otherwise abused. But will you be sent back to your home country? Yes. At least, that's the way it's supposed to work.
