The Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962-the most dangerous two weeks in history-started on October 15th with the discovery of Russian nuclear missiles in Cuba and lasted until October 28th when a courageous John Kennedy faced down Nikita Khrushchev and forced him to remove the missiles.

On the 46th anniversary of day four of the Cuban Missile Crisis, Joe Biden, at a Seattle fundraiser, made a controversial prediction about an international crisis that would inevitably occur to test Barack Obama once he was president. Biden was right! That crisis is upon us and it's analogous to the Cuban Missile Crisis that nearly plunged the superpowers into nuclear war.
