Was Bush Derangement Syndrome the principle reason behind Obama's decision to transfer Khalid Sheik Mohammad to New York to stand trial? Is he looking to put America on trial to appease the Islamic world and build an embarrassing case against Bush and Cheney for torture and war crimes? The answer is no. These are perhaps factors in Obama's insane decision but not the overriding reason. Underlying Obama's decision was his malignant narcissism and vainglorious need to have KSM's head for one of his presidential trophies.

How About a Civilian Trial in New York?

Three Navy SEALs, who have succeeded in capturing one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq, are going to be court-martialed. For punching this poor thing, who is the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Americans (guards for Blackwater) in Fallujah in 2004. Here is his handiwork (graphic image).

Keep in mind that this means that Khalid Sheik Muhammed -- one of the 9/11 masterminds -- will be granted greater rights and protections than these three Navy SEALs.

It's morally obtuse in Obamaland, isn't it?

Update: Oh, and if Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez has his way, Osama bin Laden...
